Sarah Findlay
Celta Trainer
Sarah Findlay has been in ELT for over 2 decades and teacher training for over half of that time. Born and bred in Scotland, she started off teaching in what was then the Czech Republic at the turn of the millennium, and teaching took her all over central, southern and eastern Europe and though the ranks of academic management until she finally settled in Spain, post-DELTA in 2008.
Sarah has worked with all ages, levels and contexts across 5 continents and despite a love for the face-to-face classroom has been an online specialist in teacher development since becoming an IHCYLT trainer in 2010. When not training teachers, Sarah runs a large residential summer school in the seaside town of Folkestone, England and divides her time chiefly between there, her home in Valencia and her online life.
For Sarah, teaching and training is absolutely about progress, not perfection. She values reflecting and moving forward, always, over any form of coulda, woulda, shoulda and believes, with the right approach and a little thought there is a solution for every problem.
